14-Day Protection Window
You have 14 days from delivery to report any issues with your purchase. Our team will help resolve it.
When Returns Apply
- Item significantly not as described in the listing
- Wrong item received (different book, edition, or ISBN)
- Item arrived damaged during shipping
- Missing pages or components mentioned in the listing
- Counterfeit or reproduction when listed as genuine
- Changed your mind about the purchase
- Found a cheaper price elsewhere
- Minor wear consistent with the listed condition
- Highlighting or notes that were disclosed in the listing
- Delays caused by the postal service
How to Request a Return
Report the Issue
Go to your order page and report the problem. Include photos if the item isn't as described or arrived damaged.
We Review Your Case
Our team reviews your report against the original listing. Most cases are resolved within 24-48 hours.
Return the Item (if needed)
If a return is required, we'll send you a prepaid return label. Simply pack and drop off at your nearest drop-off point.
Receive Your Refund
Once the return is confirmed, we'll process your refund within 5-7 business days to your original payment method.

Information for Sellers
As a seller on UniBookTrade, you're responsible for:
- Accurately describing your item's condition, including any damage, highlighting, or missing components
- Uploading clear photos that represent the actual item
- Responding to buyer issues promptly
- Packaging items securely to prevent damage during shipping
Seller Tip
If a buyer returns a book because it wasn't as described in your listing:
- Payment recovery: If you've already been paid, the amount will be deducted from your next payout or recovered from your linked payment method.
- Returned item: We may return the book to you (you may be responsible for return shipping costs), or we may retain it.
- Account standing: Repeated returns due to inaccurate listings may affect your seller rating or result in account restrictions.
Note: If a buyer returns an item due to buyer's remorse (and your listing description was accurate), you won't be penalised and will still receive payment.
